COFFEE Plus has now completed its first year at the Old Town Hall, following the move from the Stanbury Court community room, where it had been running for 12 years.

The move to the new venue has opened the way for more people to attend, as the Old Town Hall is spacious and central and has enabled numbers to grow.

The group meet on the third Thursday of the month, from 10am to 11.30am and offer a morning of fun, companionship and refreshments, free of charge, for anyone in the 50 plus age group.

There is an opportunity to chat with friends over coffee in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. During the morning there is a jokes slot, some DVD clips and a game, which may be a quiz or a memory game. There is a small prize for everyone, so no one feels left out.

Coffee Plus is run by members of Crediton Congregational Church who would love to welcome more people from the area to share their morning of fun.

The group will next meet on Thursday, April 21.
