A COFEE Morning held at Crediton Rugby Club on Tuesday, April 9, raised £278.60 for the local charity Hospiscare.

As the event which took place during the Easter school holiday there was an activity corner for the children, which included basket making and colouring in Easter cards. Adults enjoyed homemade cakes and a cuppa.

A raffle was held and a “guess the weight of a cake” competition.

The organiser, Alice Eaton said: "I was so pleased with the turnout, I think it was more than we raised for Hospiscare last year.

“Thank you to the local businesses and everyone who donated raffle prizes and helped with the event.”
