MORE than 30 parishioners turned out for this week’s Coffee, Cake and Company in the under gallery at St Swithun’s Church in Sandford.
This weekly get together arose from a suggestion for a weekly social gathering after Covid and has now been running for nearly 12 months.
It takes place at 10.30am every Wednesday and thanks are due to Jean Hope, and her team of helpers for organising the event and supplying "yummy cake" every week.
This week those attending had an opportunity to discuss, and put forward, suggestions for the request of 12 street names that the Parish Council have been asked to supply, by Mid Devon District Council, for the development at “Libetts" in the parish of Sandford.
