The event will begin at 1pm and run to 6pm with the Lights Switch-On of the giant 25ft tall Christmas Tree, sponsored by Ernest Jackson, at 5pm.
The main activities take place in the Town Square and Market Street, with young people and children playing an active part.

School choirs will be singing before the light switch on, as well as some other local choirs.
This includes Landscore Primary School Choir, Hayward’s School Choir, Sandford Singers, The Ad Hoc Choir, The Crediton Singers and the Good Afternoon Choir.

Headlining however, after the lights have been switched on will be the band Burnt Daylight, a four-piece indie band from the sixth form at Crediton’s Queen Elizabeth’s School.
The wildcard runner-up at the Devon Secondary Schools Battle of the Bands comprises Jamie (drums/vocals), Tom (lead guitar/piano), Zeph (lead guitar/bass/sax), and Joe (lead vocals/guitar/bass).

Burnt Daylight has transformed from a school covers band into one of Devon's most exciting young acts — with international airplay, festival appearances, and a growing fanbase thrilled that their second single release is now available.
It plays a vibrant blend of indie, funk, rock, and soul.

The band has gained 1,656 streams on Spotify – the ‘magic thousand’ where they qualify for royalties – with 636 monthly listeners and 129 followers on their first release.
Their debut single “The Ghost” received high praise, as has their second single, released on October 24, titled "You'd Know".

Santa will be in his grotto, thanks to the Lions Club of Crediton and there will be children’s activities thanks to Daisi Artists and Crediton Youth Service.
Morris dancers will also be performing and there will also be performances by Crediton Samba Band.

There will be a range of stalls in Market Street, including food and drink stalls.
Many shops will be staying open late for the event.
