MEMBERS of Cheriton Fitzpaine Twinning Association held a recent meeting in the Parish Hall, to discuss plans for when their French visitors from Bonnebosq arrive for a three or four day visit next May.

Suggestions included a trip on the Tiverton Canal, a Hog Roast and a Skittles evening, plus a party night.

Fundraising ideas suggested for early next year include a dance in January with the Hips and Haws, a Silli Chili lunch and a Ploughman’s supper.

The next event will be a Mulled Wine and Mince Pie evening hosted by John and Wendy Wilson, at their home on Saturday, November 26, from 7.30pm.
