THE directors of The Chagford Show have announced that it is with great regret that in the light of the Covid 19 pandemic, they have taken the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Show.

In a statement they said: "The safety of our visitors and volunteers is of paramount importance to us and we felt that it would be impossible to run the event safely.

"We will now start planning for the 2021 Show which will be on August 19, 2021 assuming everything is back to some sort of normal, and we look forward to welcoming you then.

"Anyone with a booking of any type will be contacted by the relevant steward shortly."
