EXETER Authors Association will be holding "A Celebration of Books" as part of CredFest 2017 tomorrow, June 17, from 2pm to 5pm at Crediton Library.

This will be a highly interactive, free event to celebrate writing in Devon.

Local authors and poets will give 10-minute readings from their books or poems and a series of free workshops will run alongside the readings. These are available for anyone to join and include Michael Jecks - introducing his historical crime novels, Jeni Braund - poetry for Anthony Nolan and Circle of Spears - the importance of audio books.

There will be "meet and greet" the authors running alongside the performances and workshops.

"A Celebration of Books" will include books by Mark Norman, Michael Jecks and JT Scott.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet an author and buy books.

There will also be free cupcakes,?and free book giveaways.?Refreshments will be supplied by the Friends of Crediton Library who will be raising funds for Crediton Library.

There is room for only 80 visitors at the venue, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
