NEWTON St Cyres Primary School has issued an appeal for a new rabbit hutch because its "dwarf" rabbit just hasn't stopped growing!

Glynis Harris, the school's head of teaching and learning, bought the tiny rabbit for the pupils to care for, and it was them who named him, "Fluffy".

However, less than a year later, "Fluffy" has more than doubled in size and outgrown his hutch.

Glynis has issued an appeal for the kind donation of a new hutch and anyone who is able to help can contact the school on 01392 851267.

She said: "Fluffy doesn't appear as small as we thought he was going to be; it would be great to obtain a bigger hutch for him."
