A GROUP of people in Crediton are looking at ways of helping the refugees in Calais and other places in France.

One thing that people can do is donate equipment such as tents, sleeping bags and warm clothes.

There is a warehouse in Taunton which accepts such equipment and then arranges transport to France.  The group is urgently looking for someone, preferably with a van, who could take it from Crediton to Taunton. It can then arrange a  collection which will be advertised in the “Courier”.

The group is also planning another public meeting at QE School, as a follow up to the one held in November 2015, and it will be held on April 27.
