GUESTS who attended the June lunch at Sandford Congregational Church Hall were treated to a home-cooked meal of gammon followed by fruit salad or strawberries and cream, all prepared by Marion Nosworthy, Marilyn Winter and Mandy Tothill.

The lunch raised around £45 for church funds.

June’s film was “Edie” starring Sheila Hancock, which was greatly enjoyed by all who went along.

The next film afternoon will be held on Monday, July 15 at 2pm in the hall and will feature the film “Lion”.
