THE Shobrooke Bus Shelter Plant Stall, organised by the Allotment Association, raised £721 for the Friends of Shobrooke Church.

The Friends are very grateful, especially to green-fingered Mandy Jones who grew hundreds of plants which led to many generous donations.

It was Mandy’s wish that 70 per cent of the proceeds went to St Swithun’s Church at Shobrooke.

The Friends have not been able to raise funds through their usual Harvest Celebration Weekends for repairs needed in the church and were very grateful for the kind donation.
