AFTER last year’s covid difficulties, Bow and District Historical Society’s Committee is delighted to be able to hold its AGM on Monday, November 22 at 7.30pm in Bow Village Hall.

It will be followed by supper and a talk by guest speaker, Peter Christie, on Sex and Slander in North Devon.  Committee member Erica Eden says that she always enjoys this event.

She said: "Christie’s research covers slightly offbeat topics and he is amusing, as well as erudite."

In Erica’s opinion, any evening is also improved by a good pudding; in this case, delicious desserts made by the committee.
