THE recent Book Sale held at Crediton Library, organised by the Friends of Crediton Library, raised £85.40.

The sale is one of many events which are held at the library, that embrace the community in and around Crediton.

The Friends group was set up to support Crediton Library in response to the recent consultation into the future of library services in Devon, which looked at alternative ways to retain a professionally-managed library service.

New FoCL members are welcome. The next meeting will be held at Crediton Library on Monday, November 23, at 7pm.
