AN evening of traditional and world music, provided by “Dallahan”, one of the fastest rising forces on the international folk circuit, will be held at Black Dog Village Hall on Saturday, April 16.
The four members of Dallahan met through local sessions in Edinburgh. They are established performers of various musical styles from classical and jazz to Balkan and Celtic, however their mutual love for Irish music brought them together in 2013 to create the unique sound that is Dallahan.
They create a high energy atmosphere through their interpretation of both traditional and contemporary Irish music as they create music that is as much fun to listen to as it is to play.
Through unique arrangements of original music and traditional Irish tunes and songs, Dallahan brings a fresh new sound to the world of Celtic music and drive the genre forward. A breath taking musical journey delivered by award winning musicians.
Doors open at 7.15pm with the show starting at 8pm. Tickets are available at Kennerleigh Community Stores or by calling 01363 866434.
There will be a licensed bar and refreshments available during the evening.
