PRIOR to the September meat bingo held at Sandford Parish Hall on September 20 a cheque for £665 was presented to Jim Stephens, Chairman of Sandford Parish Council, by Tony Wright who organises the monthly bingos.

The money raised was from the August bingo and raffle and the Parish Hall raffle.

Jim expressed his thanks to Tony and everyone who had supported it, which raised money for equipment on the refurbished Play Area in the village.

The next meat bingo will be held on Friday, October 18, eyes down at 7.45pm.
