THE next meeting of Newton St Cyres Gardening Club will be held on Wednesday, April 4 at 7.30 pm in the Clubroom of the Parish Hall.

The Speaker will be Bert Jewell and his subject will be Vegetable Growing.

Bert writes a regular article in the "Newton Wonder" and is an old friend of the Gardening Club. His talks are always full of very interesting tips and anecdotes, so it should be a good evening.

All are welcome to attend.

On Saturday, June 9, the club is organising a trip to RHS Rosemoor at Great Torrington.

It is first come, first served for places on the trip and there will be lots of flowers to see and the restaurant will be open for snacks, lunches and teas.
