CREDITON has a new Police Community Support Officer.
PCSO Becky Tanner started at Crediton Police Station on January 2 and previously worked, for five years, as a PCSO in Bideford.
Becky said her focus will be on supporting communities in the town centre and at Queen Elizabeth's, but will also work across the Crediton force area.
She said that she looks forward to getting to know everyone and working with the community, including people from other agencies.
Police Sgt Dave MacFadden, the Neighbourhood Team Leader for Crediton and Cullompton, said: "I'm really pleased to welcome Becky to the team, here in Crediton.
"With her experience of already being a town PCSO she will be a valuable asset to us and to our local communities.
"I'm sure that the townsfolk and the local communities will quickly make her feel at home and welcome her with open arms.
"Becky has already started to make inroads into building up relationships and getting her face known around the town. I have no doubt that she will be a success and be very pro active in dealing with the towns priorities."
You can contact Becky using the police 101 number or by email: [email protected]">[email protected] .
