CREDITON Postmaster, Chris Schnepp has been given a 10 year service award by the Post Office.

Chris, who lives in Exeter, has run Crediton Post Office for 10 years and feels that he has been accepted by the people of the town.

He explained: "Obviously things have changed quite a lot now that this Post Office is privately run.

"I am very conscious of trying to keep it customer friendly and I think this reflects on my staff.

"Without them, especially my manag eress Claire, I could not have survived"

"The town has changed quite dramatically in the last ten years and there are many lovely shops, making this a special town, which I hope to be part of for many years to come.

"Thank you, people of Crediton, for being so supportive."
