ATTEMPTED burglaries at commercial premises and a theft from a vehicle occurred in Crediton in the last few days.

Devon and Cornwall Police also report attempted dwelling burglaries in the Cullompton area.

A police spokesperson said: “People have been seen trying to open door handles in three different streets in Cullompton.

“Halberton Village Hall also had an attempted break in.

“Please keep your property locked and secure, ensure vehicles are locked and report any suspicious behaviour to police.

“If a suspicious vehicle is seen please include the registration.

“This advice is for commercial buildings too. Be vigilant and aware.”
