CREDITON Parish Church (Holy Cross) is part of a Mission Community together with St Swithun's Shobrooke and is currently undertaking a “Health Check”.

This uses a short online survey and aims to help Crediton or Shobrooke churches understand how it is viewed by its community.

The survey can be found at: https://hop8a5h9big.typeform.com/to/JWUxY0Qm .

If you are unable to complete the survey online, telephone Anne on 01363 772865 to ask for a paper copy.

The closing date for the survey is Monday, October 2. The more surveys completed, the more meaningful the results.

Anne Jerman from Crediton Parish Church said: “In Crediton, many people may not realise that the forebears of the current Church Governors bought the church on behalf of the townspeople in the 15th Century so it really is your church and we would welcome your views.

“Both the Governors (responsible for fabric and maintenance of the building) and the Parochial Church Council (responsible for services and running costs) are grateful for the support of the community - fundraising events in the past six weeks have raised more than £2,500 for the PCC.

“We are also pleased to welcome the community to services, concerts and especially the annual Christmas Tree Festival.

“Please complete the survey and come and see us soon - the church is open 365 days of the year!
