AN appeal has been issued for helper volunteers for this year’s Christmas Tree Festival at Crediton Parish Church from December 7 to 10.

Helpers are wanted for a variety of tasks throughout the festival, from greeting people to selling programmes, helping with the children’s competition, tombola, first aid, clearing tables, serving, helping with the dishwasher or other duties, all dependent on age and abilities.

Helpers are particularly required on the Saturday and Sunday.
