AUDIENCES will be in for a treat when ANTS, the Actors of North Tawton Society, present the pantomime "Sleeping Beauty" at North Tawton Town Hall from Tuesday, February 16 to Saturday, February 20.
With a script by Ben Crocker and a cast with experience of entertaining topped by one of the most experienced producer’s around, it will be a pantomime which should not be missed.
Twiggy Lake, producer, started with ANTS in 1989 and says this is likely to be the last show he will produce.
He explained that other commitments were taking more of his time but said that he was excited about this panto.
"Audiences are looking for a full show experience nowadays and so this panto will include puppets, computerised images and other effects.
"There are more than 40 people involved in staging this pantomime and we would all like to see everyone come along."
The cast includes Adam Courtier (Prince Orlando), Naddie Alshawi (Princess Aurora), Isaac Jones (Caraspin), Tracey Norman (Spindleshanks), John Palmer (Carabosse), Paul Reed (King Norbert), Nigel Davies (Queen Dorothy), Alfie Budd (Billy The Royal Butler).
Arrabella Henshaw plays the part of Kitty and Molly Andrews is Kat.
Anna Field is Fairy Peaceful, Serena Fewings is Fairy Graceful and Sarah Ruby is Fairy Thoughtful.
The Chorus includes Midori Marino, Ben Thwaites and Jo Westcott.
Twiggy Lake’s assistant producer is Hayley Gill.
Lighting is by Terry Bulworthy, Paddy Burns and Matt Armstrong with Tony Pratt as stage manager and Trudy Mellor as deputy stage manager.
Backstage are Lionel O’Dell, Chris Mayberry and Phil Mellor.
Doors open at 7pm with curtains up at 7.30pm.
