This event is eagerly anticipated by locals and visitors alike – and the organisers are always delighted to see both runners and walkers taking part.
It’s a great afternoon out for individuals, couples, groups of friends, families and of course, not forgetting our four-legged friends - dogs on leads are very welcome too!
Registration opens at 1.30pm at Fursdon Coach Hall, with the event starting at 2pm. The entry fee is £5 for over 16s, £2 for children (pre-school children free) and £2 per dog!
The route is approximately four miles, going through woods and fields, up and down hills and crossing some of Mid Devon’s most beautiful landscapes.
If the weather permits, you will enjoy extensive views to Exmoor and Dartmoor in the distance and to the Sidmouth Gap on the south coast.
Footwear of stout walking shoes is recommended as the terrain is hilly and uneven and if it has been wet, could be a bit muddy.
There will be tea laid on at the Coach House at the end for which donations will be welcomed to cover the cost.
