THERE were lions, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, rhinos and even a crocodile roaming around Crediton Methodist Church on Saturday afternoon (March 7).

Well, not actually live animals roaming around the church, but photographs on screen when Christine Marshall gave a very interesting illustrated talk of her safari trip to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and the Masai Mara.

Christine is a member of Crediton Photography Club and her photos were excellent, both on screen and those that she displayed around the church.

At the interval Christine served a delicious hotpot supper and everyone went home having had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

There was no charge but donations were given towards the appointment of a new Youth Worker for the Church and Community.
