ANDREW Symons Ltd, the agricultural, construction and garden machinery suppliers and repairs specialists, held a successful open day at its relatively-new Crediton depot on Wednesday, November 22.
Andrew Symons is a New Holland main dealer specialising in self-propelled forage harvesters, combines and balers.
The business pride’s itself on working with such a world leading brand and also has many other market leading franchises such as Kverneland, Manitou, Kawasaki, Shelbourne Reynolds, Joskin, Smyth Trailers, Fleming to name but a few.
Andrew Symons stock and sell a large range of new and used products from tractors and telehandlers to agricultural machinery, including GPS-precision land management equipment. George Mills is on-hand at the Crediton branch to advise and deal with sales enquiries.
Andrew Symons, explained: “Much of our success has been attributed to the fact that we know and care about how important customer service is. We try to be respectful and helpful in all aspects of our business, offering 24/7 customer service.
“Crediton was a huge decision but necessary to further expand our business into new areas.
“Our trade is rapidly changing and getting harder all the time, so we need to try and stay fresh and move with the times.”
He added: “Our Groundcare and Horticultural Department, headed up by Alen Drew, sells everything from compact tractors, ride-on and push along lawnmowers, slope mowers to hand held gardening equipment from leading brands like Grillo, Honda, Stiga, Atco, Spider, Husqvarna to name a few.
“These can be serviced and repaired on site.”
Mrs Lisa Symons, speaking about the success of the open day, said: “We were delighted to see so many people join us to celebrate the opening of our new depot at Lords Meadow Industrial Estate in Crediton.
“This included existing and new customers.
“It was a huge success, although slightly wet, but we received many positive comments and that it was a great opportunity to see such an exceptional range of tractors and machinery on display.
“Thank you to all those who attended and we are looking forward to serving you in the new year, whether it’s sourcing parts, or supplying agricultural and ground-care machinery.”
