MEMBERS of Crediton Bowling Club held a Cake and Coffee Morning on Sunday, May 19 which raised the amazing sum of £1,027 for Stand up to Cancer.

The morning was organised by Amy Bond Simpson who must be congratulated on a wonderful event, attended by both bowlers and non bowlers. As well as various stalls there was a very large raffle and a plant stall. Thanks go to everyone who supported it.

Stand Up To Cancer is a fundraising campaign that brings the UK together to speed up progress in life-saving cancer research. It funds research, which takes developments in the lab and accelerates them into brand new tests and treatments for cancer patients who need them.
