CREDITON Photography Club held its first internal competition of the season, which was attended by existing members and several prospective new members.

The competition categories were: a) colour prints b) monochrome prints and c) digital images.

The results were:

Colour Prints: 1 - Golden Eagle taken by Denzil Tancock, 2 – Detention taken by Mick Wells, 3 – The Artiste taken by Mick Wells.

Monochrome Prints: 1 - The Lounge taken by Mick Wells, 2 – Foggin Tor taken by Denzil Tancock, 3 – Botallack taken by Mike Elliott.

Digital Images: 1 - Russell Burn taken by Mick Wells, 2 – Star of Stonehenge take by Andrea Wyatt, 3 - Windswept taken by Cyril Chudley.

The next meeting of the club is tonight, Friday, October 27, when guest speaker, Richard Lappas, will give an insight into press photography and much more.

All are invited to attend to hear about Richard’s three decades of working in professional photography and the meeting will take place at the Masonic Hall, Union Road, Crediton, beginning at 7.30pm.
