A COMMEMORATIVE Service for the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth for the people of Crediton and Crediton Hamlets, will take place at Holy Cross, Crediton on Sunday, September 18 at 6pm.
The service will be led by the Rector, Rev Matthew Tregenza, on the eve of the late Queen Elizabeth’s funeral service.
All are invited to attend.
A Book of Condolence can be signed in Crediton Parish Church during the church opening hours.
People can also use the church as a place of prayer for the late HM Queen Elizabeth and to pray for the reign of HM King Charles.
For those who don’t wish to attend in person, an electronic book of condolence can be signed by visiting: royal.gov.uk .
FLOWERS
For those who wish to lay flowers in remembrance of the Queen, a dedicated area has been set up in the churchyard at the west end of Crediton Parish Church where the Platinum Jubilee sapling was planted. There is a polite request that plastic is removed prior to laying any floral tribute.
