A LOCAL girl has won a set of safety horse riding equipment in a competition run by the St Boniface Veterinary Clinic Ltd, Crediton.

Abi Ball-Revell (11) successfully completed a crossword in the veterinary practice's XL Vets Review magazine after she picked up a copy when visiting the practice with her aunt.

Abi received a "Rider Starter Kit" including equipment for a hat, stirrups, tail and a body reflector.
