CREDITON Age Concern Memory Café has room for a few more guests.

There is a welcome waiting for anyone living with dementia along with their carer.

It meets at the Age Concern Centre in Deep Lane, Crediton, every Tuesday from 2pm until 4pm.

As well as a cup of tea and a chat, there are usually chair exercises, a quiz, and some singing.

Sometimes there are entertainers or people are invited to talk on various subjects.

Guests were recently asked how they would describe the Café and came up with the words “fun, friendly, good companionship, and non-patronising”.
