IN every club there is usually a quiet, hardworking, and often very talented person, who is rarely in the limelight.

Crediton Flower Club is fortunate to have Meg Ellis, a committee member who is usually to be found plying trade with the raffle books, creating fantastic floral arrangements at the Crediton Holy Cross Church Flower Festival, or at her home church - Crediton Methodist.

She is also well-known for her cake icing skills, when a “special” birthday cake is required.

This time however, it was Meg’s turn to receive a cake (which was shared with all the members) at the July meeting, and the beautifully iced cake was made by Gill Collier.
