BOW and District Historical Society had an excellent end to 2022 with its AGM and social evening.
A much enjoyed supper of soup and desserts made by committee members was followed by an entertaining talk by Janet Few on "An Alphabetical Look at Christmas Past".
Afterwards one of the new attendees said how pleased they were that they "had found a friendly group of people who welcome everyone—whether you know a lot about history, very little about history, or are interested in learning more, like us".
Now the Society's programme for 2023 can be revealed.
