DEVON and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service were called at 12.45pm on Monday, May 25 to a vehicle on fire in a field near Chulmleigh.
Chulmleigh crew attended and found the tractor well alight.
The crew used one hose reel jet and one set of breathing apparatus to put out the fire, a thermal imaging camera used to check it was out.
The tractor was 100% damaged by fire, the cause believed accidental.
• Fire control received a call to attend a camper van on fire on the hard shoulder of the M5 northbound at 1.23pm on May 25 and mobilised crews from Cullompton and Middlemoor.
A hose reel jet was used to put out the fire, 50% damage was caused to the engine bay.
