A CAR repair garage near Crediton was targeted by thieves at about 12.30am this morning, Wednesday, November 5.

CCTV shows three hooded lads arrive at Meadowside Garage in Sandford.

They are then recorded breaking into the garage office and workshop.

Proprietor Philip Harvey said: “The lads arrived in a white Mercedes convertible and broke in through our office door.

“They went into our workshop and stole cordless electrical tools, about five in total and also two sets of car keys among other items.

“We think our alarm disturbed them.”

The offenders drove off up through the village to leave the scene.
