DEVON and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was called to attend a road traffic collision with someone still trapped in the vehicle in Tiverton at 2.37am on Sunday, January 4.
Two fire crews from Tiverton and a supporting fire officer were sent and on arrival confirmed that the car had come to rest on its roof.
Police and ambulance were also in attendance.
Crews got to work and released the occupant of the car using road traffic collision equipment.
The occupant of vehicle was handed over to an ambulance crew on the scene.
The incident was then left in the hands of the Police.
