POLICE and ambulances attended an incident in Crediton on Saturday, March 21.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Constabulary told the Courier afterwards: “Police were called soon after 6pm on Saturday, March 21, to a property on Newcombes, Crediton, following a report of a man acting aggressively at an address.

“Emergency services responded and made attempts to engage with the man who barricaded himself inside.

“The incident was resolved at around 8.30pm.

“He was treated at hospital for minor injuries.”
