FIREFIGHTERS from North Tawton, Okehampton and Crediton were called to attend a fire at a domestic property in Zeal Monachorum on Friday, February 18.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service was first called to attend at about 7pm.

On arrival the crews found a fire in the kitchen of the domestic property involving a Rayburn.

Crews donned breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet to put out the fire.

A thermal imaging camera was used to check the fire was out.

A positive pressure fan was used to clear the property of smoke.

Afterwards, the firefighters left duty of care with the occupants.
