POLICE are appealing for information after valuable gold jewellery and cash was taken from a home in Cullompton.

Offenders entered the property in Saxon Way sometime between January 16 and 28.

They stole a number of items of gold jewellery and a quantity of cash.

Among the items taken was an antique gold ring with a diamond cluster. Three other gold rings were stolen, including one carrying an oval-shaped sapphire surrounded by diamonds.

Also taken was a Gucci ladies watch, a gold-coloured Gucci bangle and a pair of gold earrings in a spiral design.

Officers are investigating the burglary and appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time of the offence to contact them.

They would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered the items for sale.
