THE 7th Charity Clay Shoot to be held at Higher Chilverton Farm, Coldridge, will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 7, in aid of Coldridge Village Hall.

Entries will be accepted from 11.30am until 4pm and the event will include AA and AAA, Open and Novice classes.

There will be cash prizes for the AA and AAA classes depending on entries, cash prizes for the first five in the Open and trophies for the first three in the Novices. There will also be a draw, barbecue and other refreshments available.

Andrew Green, host, said: “We are again looking forward to continuing our success and providing everyone with an enjoyable and good value fun day.

"This year we are inviting responsible absolute beginners to come along and ‘have-a-go’ from 12.30pm until 4pm.

"A shotgun and free tuition will be provided as well as cartridges being available for sale.

"This will be away from the main shooting area so that people need not think that they are holding up the professionals!

"It should be another good day as we have received some great feedback from our last six events, so please do come along!”
