THE North Creedy Choral Society is this year celebrating its 50th anniversary, and rehearsals will soon re-start for the autumn.

The Society would welcome anyone who is looking for the opportunity to sing a selection of Choruses from Handel’s “Messiah” and Bach’s “Christmas Oratorio” together with favourite Christmas Carols.

Rehearsals take place on Mondays from 7.30pm to 9pm on Monday, September 5 in Crediton Parish Church, and every Monday after.

No audition is needed, scores will be provided and all ages welcome.

Rehearsals are for the Society’s Autumn Concert with Ensemble and Soloists on Saturday December 3, as part of Crediton Parish Christmas Tree Festival.

There will also be a Spring Concert with full orchestra to include “The Nelson Mass” (Haydn) and “Requiem” (Rutter).
