A TRADITIONAL tea afternoon was held at Cheriton Fitzpaine Parish Hall on Sunday, November 18, during which everyone was entertained by the “Hummingbirds”, a group of three very pretty young ladies in 1940’s dress singing the “Swing” songs of the era.

Many of the audience had dressed up for the occasion, and some of the younger people boogied away in time to the music.

Thanks go to all who went along and the many who provided the delicious cakes. Becky Smith organised the event with the help of the Parish Hall Committee.

Special thanks to David Pink, who one minute was erecting the stage, and then was resplendent in lounge suit and bow tie during the performance.
