MORE than 100 walkers took part in Sandford’s Jubilee Walk.

The party left the Parish Hall and headed along Fanny’s Lane to Creedy Park’s East Lodge.

There they were welcomed by resident Suzie Erdbrink together with family and friends.

A lovely walk across the park was then enjoyed which people compared to the “opening sequence from Downton Abbey”.

Near to the house Suzie gave a potted history of the Park and House.

The party then left the Park and headed to the Lockdown Wood, to be welcomed by the owners Roy and Jean Howard.

There was then an opportunity to visit the newly planted wood which had notices on display explaining the different trees.
