IT was another busy week for Crediton Youth FC sides.

Midweek action saw the U14’s have to share the points in a one-all draw against their rivals Moors Youth at Lords Meadow.  A late goal from the Tiverton side cancelled out Seb Roche’s first half goal.

The U13’s lost out 4-3 away at Heavitree Lightning with Ethan Moore and Luis Matthews amongst the goal scorers.

It was a massive game for the U15’s away at Alphington as the two title chasing sides met.

After a goalless first half, the home side took the lead in the second half. Zach Mildon got Creddy back into the game and Rhys Ebdy with a superb turn and shot won the game for the visitors.

It was a narrow defeat for the U12’s at home to Stoke Hill as they lost out 2-1, with Charlie Williams getting their goal.

Also at home were the U16’s.

With many players missing they went down 7-1 against Axminster. Alfie Poole got their consolation goal.

The U11 Youth girls also had a midweek game against Exmouth United Reds. They twice came from behind to share the points. Freya Chesney and Marnie Harris with a top corner finish getting their goals.

Saturday saw the U15’s host Central Hawks and they ran out 6-2 winners. Two goals from Dan Burgess, with Charlie Turney, Ollie Baker, Ollie Shorey and Zach Mildon also amongst the goals. 

Back on winning ways were the U14’s as they beat Brixington Blues 7-1. The home side’s goals coming from Seb Roche with two, Alfie Williams Greenwood, Archie Smith, Fletcher Clark,  Jake Tapp, and Zach Miller.

The U13’s went down 7-2 against Moors Youth with Lexi Mullen and Will Hopkins on target for them.

It was a similar story for the U12’s who lost out 5-1 to Heavitree Hornets at home.

On the road the U11’s travelled to Moors United and returned with another fine result. Amongst their goal scorers on the day were Jenson Langabeer, Luke Beetlestone, Ollie Dallyn and Toby Camp.

The U9’s were at Stoke Hill. It was two draws, one win and one defeat for them. Player of the day awards went to Charlie Blake for his defensive display and Harry Shepherd for his overall work rate. A special mention to Rupert Nicholls for his stunning volley.

What a morning of girls football at Lords Meadow last Sunday.

The U13’s hosted Torquay United Community Sports Yellows. They edged out their guests 1-0 in a cracking game of football. Tommasina Miali grabbed the Crediton goal with a fine solo finish.

Both the U11 sides were at home as well. The Youth side ran out winners against Torquay Yellows with Eva Malik getting a brace  and Freya Chesney and Izzy Steward also on target.

The Blues put in an amazing performance against Sidmouth and had a comfortable win. Two apiece from Emily Carr and Emily Walshe with Emily Stagg and Imogen Treen also amongst the goals.

Also at home were the U7 girls who had a fun morning as they played mini games against Twyford Spartans.

The U9 girls travelled to Culm Sampford as they continued their football journey.

The U18’s made the long journey to Ilfracombe. They lost out 3-1 with Greg Mildon getting their goal.
